About Us

Belsfield Care is a grouping of locally owned and managed care homes with nursing in the North Shore and Bispham areas of Blackpool, owned by either K&B Bell or Ryecourt Ltd. We have over 25 years experience of caring for the needs of our residents.

Our homes have a history of providing nursing care for adults with dementia and related behavioural problems, with older adults who require general nursing care and with young adults who have acquired brain injury. We have experience in managing residents with early-onset dementia and alcohol-induced dementia.

Coming to Belsfield Care

If you choose to come to one of our homes, we will complete an assessment prior to your admission. As part of our assessment, we will visit you and may discuss your needs with your social worker and health care workers. Having completed the assessment we will discuss with you, or your representative, which of our homes is best able to meet your needs.

Our Homes

Our home in Bispham, Ryecourt Care Home with Nursing originally provided nursing care for individuals with a general nursing need. A dementia unit was added in 2005 and is able to meet the needs of older people with a physical or dementia need for nursing care.
New for 2009 is Belsfield House a purpose-built 40 bedded home providing care for adults with an acquired brain injury, a physical disability or with dementia. The home has its own hydrotherapy pool aims to provide a much-needed service for people with acquired brain injuries which until now has been lacking on the Fylde Coast.

Our Main Objectives

Our Main objective is to care for the service users placed with us, and to give them peace of mind and reassurance. For our older residents we will ensure that they spend the latter part of their lives comfortably and pleasurably. For our younger residents we will endeavour to help them live their lives to their full potential.
